VAT

If your company is registered in European Community (EC) and has a valid VAT number - Our Metals will NOT charge VAT. However, if your company does not have a genuine VAT number, we would have to charge a UK VAT rate, which is currently 17.5%. Below is list of countries which are part of the EC for VAT purposes:

Cyprus Cyprus (Southern - Greek part) * CY

*The European Commission has advised that the application of the 6th VAT Directive (Directive 77/388/EEC of 17 May 1977) shall be suspended in those areas of Cyprus in which the Government of the Republic of Cyprus does not exercise effective control. Goods to these destinations continue to be eligible for zero-rating as exports.


Countries that are outside the EC will not be charged VAT by Our Metals. These countries also include:
